Physical object

Includes the upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant in the region of the Peninsula. Specifically provided for the construction of an additional line of waste water treatment in parallel with the existing as well as interventions in the key points of the installation, so that it can cover the requirements of legislation for the disposal of treated wastewater for irrigation.

Deliverables project

The final deliverable of the act includes:

The upgrade projects – expansion of a Sewage Treatment Plant (E.E.L.) Peninsula, which provided for the convenience of the population 6.868 equivalent inhabitants (Phase A – summer 20-year-old), with the possibility of extension for 9.509 equivalent inhabitants (Phase B – summer 40-years period), consisting of a summary of the following sub-sections :

1. Projects of input and Pre-processing, including:

  • the construction of a new pit entry
  • the supply and installation of two (2) Compact units pretreatment of waste water, including sloughing of – sand – λιποσυλλογή, as well as the supply and installation of two (2) Compact units λεπτοεσχάρωσης
  • the construction of the διθάλαμης Tank Balancing, Pump Balancing and shaft mounting παροχόμετρων close to this.
  • the construction of the new installation deodorization, which will process air from the Equalization Tank, A/framework Balancing and Compact units pretreatment and λεπτοεσχάρωσης
  • the supply and installation of all necessary e/M equipment, such as Injectors, air flow-jet), agitators for waste water, pump, etc
  • The fundamental grounding, as well as the various necessary equipotential connections
  • The organic material filling the local system deodorizing, the watering system (εφύγρανσης) of the biological material and the drain στραγγιδίων of βιόφιλτρου.

 

2. Units of biological treatment, including:

  • the construction of a new shaft-sharing provider.
  • the construction of Tanks for biological treatment (biological phosphate removal, nitrification, de-nitrification, filtration membranes, MBR, etc.), the Pumping stations recirculation of nitrate and recirculation of sludge as well as the provision of transport of excess sludge and the Engineering of Biological Treatment
  • the supply and installation of all necessary e/M equipment, such as pumps, blowers, for example air, etc.
  • the mounting subpanel in the Engineering of Biological treatment
  • the installation of lightning protection, the earth and the necessary equipotential connections
  • the installation of the lighting and sockets

 

3. The construction of inclined roof as an extension to the existing building of dehydration, including:

  • the construction of the above-mentioned inclined roof.
  • the placement of a roof in the sloping roof, with plates, sandwich type of galvanized steel with a filling of polyurethane

 

4. Building chemicals, including :

  • the construction of the building chemicals and of the well concentration στραγγιδίων
  • the placement of the frames and doors
  • the supply and installation of the pressure band
  • the dosing pumps of the chemical that will be used on Tanks, Chlorination and Exposure and the corresponding Tanks of their storage

 

5. Unit Chlorination – Dechlorination of wastewater, including:

  • the construction of a new Tank Chlorination after of the accessory equipment (dosing pumps, storage containers disinfectant)
  • the construction of a Manhole Exposure after of the accessory equipment (dosing pumps, storage containers αποχλωριωτικού instrument, mixer shaft)
  • the placement of a shaker and meter, residual chlorine in the Pit Exposure.

6. Unit Μεταερισμού – Industrial water, including:

  • the construction of the new Tank Μεταερισμού – Industrial water
  • the placement of meter dissolved oxygen

 

7. The pumping Station Diversion of Sewage (within Wellhead Grease Existing Building Εξάμμωσης – Grate) From Existing WWTP to the extension and πλαγιοκαλυψη and topping of the existing building Grate – Εξάμμωσης, including:

  • the construction of the wellhead valves
  • the power pumps sewage
  • the specific pieces of pipe fittings of malleable cast iron or stainless steel of the new pumping station diversion of sewage
  • the construction and installation of a new wall, coating and young people between purlins to the existing installation (building) Εξάμμωσης – Grate.

 

8. System upgrade pre-treatment raw sewage, including:

  • submersible pumps and submersible mixers
  • the supply and installation of a Compact unit for the pretreatment of wastewater, which include slot – screening – sand raw sewage and λιθοπαγίδων
  • the construction of a new culvert placement of λιθοπαγίδων.

 

9. Replacement of an existing system, deodorizing, including:

  • the construction of the new installation deodorizing
  • the replacement of part of the network deodorizing of new pipeline PVC-U.
  • the organic material filling the local system deodorizing, the watering system (εφύγρανσης) of the biological material and the drain στραγγιδίων of βιόφιλτρου
  • the e/M equipment βιόφιλτρου and the piping system of diffusion of air.

 

10. Auxiliary facilities – infrastructure networks – configuration space, i.e. :

  • the pipelines of the transmission networks of wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, fire-fighting and irrigation network within the expansion of the WWTP and the piping within the unit
  • the restoration of the environment area, through vegetation cover (trees, shrubs)
  • the construction of an internal network of roads – stormwater drainage
  • the rehabilitation and extension of auxiliary networks (sewerage, water supply, industrial water, στραγγιδίων, fire fighting)
  • the network and the provisions outdoor lighting.

 

11. Upgrade building Energy, through:

  • placement in the General table Low-Voltage (C.E.X.T)
  • amendments to the existing table for the supply of the new
  • unfrocking and arrangements of the premises for the placement of the C.E.X.T

 

12. System automation and control, which will cover the whole of the WWTP

Objectives - Benefits

The objectives are to be achieved by the completion of the project is expected to be the protection of the aquatic environment (surface and groundwater) from urban pollution, prevent the formation of foci of infection and the controlled disposal of the effluents to natural receptors of the area.

The proposed project will be a very important intervention for the Municipal District of the Peninsula. On the one hand, will join the system of sewerage important pieces of the region who, today, are drained at all, and on the other hand, will improve significantly the ability of the existing wastewater treatment plant and the existing main sewer network, so that after the intervention the whole system to be able to manage effectively, without nuisances and problems to the large volume of urban waste water and the many raw sewage of the wider region which it serves.

Also, the upgrade and expansion of the WWTP will provide very significant quantities of water with a quality suitable for irrigation of olive trees, saving precious water resources for water supply to the public.

Beneficiary population is, in principle, the population of the settlements Withdrawal, Αγριανά and Χατζανάπου do not have any drainage and the whole of the population and tourists in the wider area of the board.D. Peninsula, both through the expansion-upgrade of the WWTP and pumping stations, and through the benefit from the protection of groundwater from contamination, and the savings due to irrigation with treated water.
